Salary: £29,455 (Unqualified) or £33,487 (Qualified) per annum + benefits
Location: Dearne Valley College, Rotherham

You will lead dynamic lectures, develop cutting-edge curriculum, and mentor the next generation of esports professionals. From tournament operations to AI in gaming, you will bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industry practice.

- Dynamic Teaching: Deliver engaging sessions on broadcasting, team operations, event management, and game strategy.
- Curriculum Innovation: Design forward-thinking modules featuring virtual production, analytics, and player wellbeing.
- Student Mentoring: Guide student teams, support career development, and manage Student Champs.
- Industry Connection: Build partnerships with teams and publishers to secure guest speakers and placements.
- Event Leadership: Oversee live tournament planning, technical broadcast setups, and audience engagement.

Requirements
You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards.

Department Info
You will work as part of the curriculum team at Dearne Valley and you will also closely work with and take direction from our Curriculum Team Leaders. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
