Salary: £15,849 - £19,812 per annum actual (full-time equivalent £26,416 - £33,020), dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (0.6 fractional contract)
Contract: Fixed term until December 2026
Are you passionate about making maths accessible and engaging for all learners? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to teach GCSE maths to a diverse group of students? We want you to join our dedicated team as a Lecturer in Maths!
What You'll Do
- Deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons in GCSE maths
- Support learners at all levels, helping them build essential skills for work and further study
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assessments, and feedback to ensure student success
- Provide personalised support to help learners overcome challenges and reach their full potential
- Contribute to the development and improvement of teaching strategies and resources
What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 or higher maths qualification, or a degree with substantial maths content, and GCSE English at grade 4/C or above
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one (e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training)
- Experience teaching GCSE maths
- A strong understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed
- A positive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of diverse learners
