The School of Biological and Environmental Sciences
The School of Biological and Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Human Geography to provide cover for Dr Kezia Barker.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertise in Geography: Candidates with expertise in cultural, political, and/or social geography approaches to environmental issues, as well as experience in qualitative methods.
- Module Delivery: Lead and deliver the 3rd-year undergraduate module Catastrophic Futures (critical approaches to the Anthropocene) and the team-taught 2nd-year module Geographies of Health and Inequalities.
- Teaching Contribution: Contribute to teaching across a range of other undergraduate and postgraduate modules within BSc Geography, BSc Climate and Environmental Sciences, and MSc Climate Change & Sustainability.
- Fieldwork: Ability to participate in and lead fieldwork would be advantageous.
