Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Industrial Design

Do you have the skills to teach and enthuse undergraduate students in the area of engineering design? Can you deliver innovative research-led teaching in an international setting?

The University of Leeds and Southwest Jiaotong University have established the SWJTU-Leeds Joint School at the SWJTU campus in Chengdu, China, delivering undergraduate degree programmes in Computer Science, Civil Engineering with Transport, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. An exciting new programme in Industrial Design has recently been launched.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with interests in teaching with research or scholarship, and disciplinary expertise in industrial design. We are looking for the knowledge, experience and creativity needed to apply innovative modes of course delivery in Chengdu, China. If you are interested in research, you will also be looking to build your research career internationally, exploring relationships and partnerships in Chengdu with a view to developing a collaborative research portfolio.
