The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented legal academic for a Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) to join our supportive, ambitious, and collegiate Law School on a fixed-term appointment for 9 months.
We are seeking talented and ambitious legal scholars and educators to join our growing academic community. We welcome applications from candidates with the expertise and enthusiasm to contribute across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are especially interested in colleagues who are passionate about innovative, inclusive, and student-centred approaches to legal education, and who are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of legal learning in a modern university environment.

What You Will Bring
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Deliver outstanding learning experiences that inspire students and contribute to excellent outcomes and a positive student experience.
- Contribute effectively to the administration, development, and ongoing success of our Law programmes.
- Embrace innovative teaching methods and inclusive practices that support diverse learners to achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching, scholarship, and the student experience.
- Teach across a range of legal topics in both large groups and workshop style settings.
- Act as a personal tutor providing pastoral care to our diverse student body.
