Lecturer (Management) – BSc (Hons) Construction Management / Project Management

- Salary: £51,000
- Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

About the Role
We are seeking Lecturers to deliver teaching across undergraduate levels of:
- BSc (Hons) Construction Management
- BSc (Hons) Project Management
Due to our flexible delivery model, we require availability to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
⚠️ Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
We would appreciate experience teaching in any of the following:
- Project management
- Resource management
- Strategic management
- Financial management
- Health and safety management
- Environment and sustainability management
- Law or dispute resolution
Key Responsibilities
As a Lecturer in Management, your core duties include:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing student learning to meet all learning outcomes
- Developing, updating, and refining course materials
- Actively engaging with a diverse range of learning and teaching methods/materials
- Participating in:
- Staff development activities
- Peer observations
- Meetings & administrative tasks
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and effective student support practices
- Working towards clear student performance objectives, including:
- Attendance & continuation rates
- Completion & satisfaction
- Future progression

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject (a PhD would be advantageous)
- Previous UK Higher Education (HE) lecturing experience in the broader subject area
- Substantial expertise in relevant subject matter
- Experience supervising student work and providing support & feedback
- Ability to maintain accurate student records and report effectively
- Capacity to manage workload efficiently, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with diverse audiences
Desirable Criteria
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice (or equivalent teaching qualification) or
- Commitment to completing one within three years of probation or
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) (international equivalents welcome)
- Experience in designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
