Lecturer in Marketing, Temporary
Job Purpose
To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
The post requires a professionally qualified marketing specialist with the academic and professional standing to deliver Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications from Level 3 to Level 6, with the main delivery requirement at CIM Level 4 Certificate and Level 6 Diploma.
The postholder must have the depth of subject knowledge required to teach, contextualise and assess higher-level professional marketing content, including strategic marketing, customer insight, brand management, digital marketing, integrated communications, marketing planning and marketing metrics. In addition to the qualification requirement, the role requires substantial and current professional experience in marketing at management, strategic or consultancy level, together with proven experience of delivering, tutoring, assessing or supporting learners on CIM or equivalent professional marketing qualifications. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate credible applied marketing practice, confident delivery to adult professional learners, strong understanding of assessment standards and the ability to support learners working at Level 4 and Level 6.

£22.58 - £34,91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Holiday Entitlement
46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually. Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above Term Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above paid as part of annual salary.
Working Pattern
To be confirmed – Flexibility required
An additional percentage of between 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking.
