About the Role

As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, delivering courses from entry level right up to Masters degrees, Weston College is an inspiring place to work. Why not join us as a Lecturer in Musical Theatre and Acting?

This is a part-time role, working 14.8 hours per week.

We would particularly welcome applications from people currently working within the industry or with relevant industry experience.

If you aren't sure if you have the right qualifications, or haven't taught before, we can help you train and develop whilst you build practical experience in the classroom.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to Day Duties

  • Providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Musical Theatre and Acting programmes.
  • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
  • Supporting student performances, productions, showcases, rehearsals, and public-facing events.
  • Providing academic and pastoral support and encouraging the highest possible standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have a degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Have relevant professional or commercial experience.
  • Either hold or be willing to gain a teaching qualification.
