Lecturer (Physiotherapy Clinical Educator)
This Job is based in Australia
Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours a week)
Duration: Fixed Term Role until 31 May 2028 (Possible extension, funding dependant)
Remuneration: $133k - $156k base (+17% super and a leave loading)
Work rights: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
Location: UNSW Campus, Kensington. Role will require occasional site visits and a full driver's licence is strongly preferred

This Opportunity
The Physiotherapy Clinical Educator is responsible for coordinating and delivering physiotherapy clinical placement programs within the School of Health Sciences, ensuring high-quality clinical education and student learning experiences. The role contributes to curriculum development, evidence-based teaching, and strong engagement with clinical partners, while fostering student success and continuous improvement in physiotherapy education.

Key Skills And Experience Required
- A PhD in Physiotherapy or related disciplines or significant clinical education experience.
- Registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist in Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical experience within the industry and experience with work-integrated learning and clinical education.
- Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of work-integrated learning (desirable).
