Automotive Lecturer
Salary: £33,843–£46,992 per annum
Location: Epsom, Surrey, UK
Hours: Full-time

Overview
Our client, a further education college, is seeking an Automotive Lecturer to teach and support learners across motor vehicle and motorsport programmes.
The role combines classroom and practical teaching with course leadership, curriculum development, and learner support. You will also contribute to quality improvement and support student participation in motorsport activities.
An up to £6,000 one-off government retention payment may be available. A £500 welcome bonus is also available for eligible full-time, all-year-round staff, subject to terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
- Teach and train students across a range of motor vehicle learning environments.
- Act as course leader for City & Guilds Level 1 and IMI Level 2 provision.
- Support the development of motor vehicle, motorsport, and new short-course provision.
- Guide, motivate, and support learners to achieve strong outcomes.
- Contribute to quality monitoring and continuous improvement of teaching delivery.
- Support students and clients to achieve their potential.
- Assist with student motorsport events where required.

Requirements
- Motor vehicle industry experience.
- Recognised City & Guilds or IMI Level 3 motor vehicle qualification.
- Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality support to learners.
Desirable
- Teaching experience.
- Assessor qualification.
