Salary: AC3, £50,253 - £56,535 per annum
Full time: 35 hours per week

This role may be eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. If requiring visa sponsorship, the successful applicant will also need to meet a range of individual criteria to satisfy Home Office requirements. Post – Lecturer: Sport Coaching and Development
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Sport Coaching and Development academic, based at our Ayr Campus, who will deliver across our undergraduate portfolio including; BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development, BSc (Hons) Sport Development, BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching, and BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science. You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community – and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- PhD or Doctorate in a related discipline (or near to completion)
- Theoretical and practical knowledge across a wide range of sports coaching and development contexts
- Previous experience of designing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating higher education modules in sport coaching and development
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals and experience of research supervision at undergraduate level
