About the Role
The University of Law Business School offers industry-accredited degrees (CMI, CIM, APM, and ACCA) in Business Management, Marketing, Law, and Accounting. Designed specifically with employability in mind, we are currently seeking two Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our academic team at our Moorgate Campus on a permanent basis.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Harvard Case Method and online simulation. Reporting to our Academic Manager, you will provide tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio, including delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to a high standard.
Responsibilities
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at The University of Law Business School, you will:
- Teach and assess across the University of Law Business School course portfolio in assigned subjects.
- Assist in the preparation of assignments and assessments.
- Participate in course design and review.
- Act as an academic coach to students, including discussing problems, performance, and academic progression.
Requirements
Essential Lecturer Position Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards.
- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE.
- Sufficient breadth and depth of professional experience in the relevant discipline to develop teaching programs and learning support.

Please note that if you do not currently hold this, it is a requirement of the University that you will enroll into the program (delivered and financially supported by the University), usually within 12 months of passing probation. Successful completion/qualification is essential to this role.
Essential Senior Lecturer Requirements:
- Master’s degree (in Business and/or Management) or professional qualifications.
- Fellowship of the HEA and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE).
- Extensive relevant experience.
- Teaching in a Higher Education setting or an educational establishment.
- Significant expertise in the application and practical delivery of a range of teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring colleagues, assessments and marking, and team leadership.

On top of a salary of Lecturer £40,500 - £42,500 & Senior Lecturer £49,000 - £54,000, you will enjoy:
