Role
We are looking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology. The role will include teaching and research duties to students on undergraduate/postgraduate on British Psychological Society Accredited undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes. Your teaching duties will include:
- Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars
- Supervision of final year projects
- Contribute to the personal tutoring scheme
- Devise and mark assessments

You will be required to contribute to the teaching of research methods to our students. There will be opportunities to become involved in a variety of existing research projects. You will be expected to be research active in psychology.
Ideal candidate
You will hold a PhD in psychology (or close to completion). We are looking for you to have expertise in clinical psychology, be familiar with delivering teaching and learning within higher education or academic-level delivery within commercial settings. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the University community. You will share DMU’s passion to provide outstanding and inclusive outcomes for all of its students.
This is maternity cover for up to 12 months, or upon the return of the post-holder, whichever is sooner.
