Commercial Property Solicitor | 1-3 PQE

City work. West End assets. Sophisticated clients. A Property team with serious pedigree.

We're working with a prestigious City law firm that is looking to add a 1-3 PQE Commercial Property Solicitor to an established Property team of around 15-16 people.

This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely high-quality Commercial Property practice, working alongside 5-6 Partners and around 10 fee earners on substantial property matters for sophisticated clients.

The sweet spot is around 1-2 PQE, although the firm will consider candidates up to 3 PQE. They're particularly interested in lawyers with experience acting for corporate occupiers, although strong candidates from City, National, US or high-quality regional practices will be considered.

And the work? It's certainly not small-ticket property.

You'll be dealing with West End properties generating annual rents of around £200,000-£500,000, alongside investment transactions typically ranging from £20m-£50m.

What you'll be doing

The role has a strong focus on:

  • Corporate occupier work
  • Asset management
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Commercial property development
  • Property investment
  • Real estate finance
  • High-value West End property transactions
  • Supporting on significant investment transactions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
