The role
We are looking for a Legal Administrator to work across the firm’s Corporate and Film, TV & Theatre Groups. The Legal Administrator will support the groups with general administration tasks and assist with streamlining processes. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum one year’s administration assistant experience, ideally gained in a law firm or professional services.
Responsibilities
The Legal Administrator role has the following responsibilities:
- Provides general administration support for the groups, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within set deadlines.
- Assists with the file opening and closing processes.
- Assists with photocopying and scanning.
- Assists with all aspects of the billing process and accounting processes, including claiming expenses.
- Maintains client files both electronically and in hard copy where required, including sorting, collating and filing emails and correspondence/documents.
- Manages processes using the firm’s network IT systems and databases, including Filesite, Aderant, and Microsoft Office.
- Liaising with other departments including Compliance and Finance.
- Manages workload issues; takes ownership of enquiries and ensures any issues are referred/delegated to the appropriate person and dealt with in a timely fashion.
- Provides ad hoc support to the groups as required.

Skills Required
- Previous experience within a busy law firm is preferable or one year’s administration experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- Adaptable and flexible

- Outgoing, enthusiastic, hard-working and confident
- The capability to keep matters confidential
