Administration Assistant – Real Estate role

We're working with a well-established law firm who are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join their specialist Real Estate team in Exeter. The team provides legal support to clients across the holiday and mobile home parks sector, covering sales, purchases, refinances and wider real estate matters.

This is an entry-level legal administration role supporting a team of lawyers with day-to-day administrative tasks, client enquiries and property-related searches. Full training will be provided on the firm's systems, file management and document production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing general administrative support including photocopying, scanning and filing.
  • Dealing with email and telephone enquiries and passing information accurately to the relevant team members.
  • Assisting with property and planning searches.
  • Opening, closing and archiving client files.
  • Using the firm's IT systems and packages.
  • Assisting with specialised document production.
  • Supporting the wider Real Estate team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

What we need from you:

  • An interest in working within the legal sector.
  • Previous administrative experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Clear and accurate communication skills.
  • A practical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues and contribute as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
