Legal Case Administrator / Legal Administrator Location: Reading - 3 days per week in the office Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Case Administrator / Legal Administrator to join a busy and professional team based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with legal administration or case management experience who enjoys taking ownership of cases and seeing them through from start to finish.

The Role

As a Legal Case Administrator, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end administrative support across a portfolio of legal cases and contracts. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and other stakeholders to ensure cases progress smoothly, accurately and within required timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing cases and contracts from initial instruction through to completion
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation
  • Coordinating case activity and ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Preparing, processing and reviewing legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and other relevant stakeholders
  • Monitoring case progress and providing updates where required
  • Identifying and escalating any issues or delays
  • Ensuring all case administration is completed accurately and in line with procedures
  • Supporting the wider legal team with general administrative duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing cases through to completion.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a legal administration, case management or similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
  • Confidence working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Good IT and document management skills
