Location: Stockport office, working from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

We are looking for someone with substantial previous experience in a legal secretarial, administrative or receptionist role in a legal setting, who can confidently manage the day-to-day administrative requirements of a busy law firm.

The role will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department;
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post;
  • Opening new files;
  • Assisting with client onboarding, including sending initial documentation, obtaining identification and carrying out the necessary checks;
  • Completing applications for after-the-event insurance;
  • Dealing with invoices and general accounts administration; and
  • Providing wider administrative support to the solicitors and file handlers.
