About The Role

We are continuing to invest in and grow our Legal Advice Service and, as a result, we are looking for a Legal Advice Team Leader to join us in our Bristol office.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Legal Advisors who provide expert legal guidance and support to our commercial and personal customers. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in creating a high-performing, customer-focused environment, ensuring your team has the skills, knowledge and support to deliver outstanding service and positive customer outcomes every day.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, coaching and development of your team, helping colleagues perform at their best while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.

Working closely with colleagues across Legal Services and the wider business, you will help drive operational excellence, identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and contribute to the ongoing development of our Legal Advice Service.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and motivating your team by holding effective 1:1's, coaching sessions and taking referrals.
  • Proactively recognising patterns in the frustrations or hopes of our customers, seeing where we can change and improve our processes, tools, or products to serve them better.
  • Supporting excellent quality claims referrals and ensure that the team is adequately trained on relevant policy stipulations.
  • Actively looking for ways to improve the customer journey and the services we provide.
  • Understanding, prioritising and escalating customers' feedback and requests to the wider ARAG business.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulations and statutory obligations.
  • Keeping abreast of any regulatory changes or legal updates that may be relevant to the Legal Advice Service.

About You

We are looking for an engaging and people-focused leader who is passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes and developing high-performing teams.

You may already have experience managing professional teams, or you may be an experienced Legal Advisor, Solicitor or legal professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role. In either case, you will have the ability to inspire others, drive performance and create an environment where people can thrive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
