About The Role

We're looking for a Legal Advisor to join our Legal team and work closely with the Commercial & Contracts, and Compliance teams to provide practical, commercially focused legal support across the allpay Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer looking to develop their career within a regulated business environment. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting a wide range of commercial, governance, regulatory and operational matters while building your technical expertise and commercial judgement.

You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your work, develop strong business relationships and grow your confidence, with support available when dealing with more complex or high-risk matters.

You'll provide day-to-day legal support across the business, helping colleagues navigate legal, contractual and governance considerations while balancing risk and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, supplier agreements and commercial contract variations.
  • Supporting contract negotiations and preparing clear, practical advice for business stakeholders.
  • Identifying legal and contractual risks, recommending solutions and escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Supporting business projects and operational initiatives by providing timely legal input and guidance.
  • Assisting with legal research, regulatory change activities and governance-related projects.
  • Supporting data protection and information governance matters, including data processing agreements and privacy documentation.
  • Assisting with the management of disputes, complaints and external legal advice.
  • Maintaining legal templates, contract records and legal knowledge resources.
  • Contributing to training, guidance materials and legal awareness initiatives across the business.

About You

We're looking for a newly qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent legal professional who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and delivering practical advice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
