Role Description
GarancieChex is looking for a Legal and Compliance Officer to join our growing background screening business in Sevenoaks, Kent. This junior to mid-level role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience across legal, compliance, data protection, audit, governance, risk or information security.
The successful candidate will support a broad range of activities including:
- Contract review
- UK GDPR compliance
- DPO support
- Internal audit
- Supplier governance
- Client due diligence
- ISO 27001 readiness

This is a great opportunity for a detail-focused and commercially minded professional to gain broad exposure, work closely with senior stakeholders and help shape the compliance framework of a fast-growing, people-first screening provider.
A law degree or legal training would be advantageous, but practical compliance experience, strong written communication and excellent attention to detail are equally important.
