The Role
Legend is excited to hire a Legal Assistant in London (or Jersey, UK) to join our global Legal Team. This is a role for an individual early in their career (a non-qualified solicitor) reporting into a senior legal counsel. The Legal Assistant will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation and administration of our Legal Team, helping to enhance internal processes and policies, and providing support on a range of routine legal matters and day-to-day group administration activities.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to support the Legal Team’s affairs from an operational and administrative standpoint, helping to make the team a more efficient, well-organised and high-performing function, while also gaining exposure to a range of routine legal matters within a fast-paced, dynamic international business.
Join us in enhancing our legal capabilities and driving future success through efficient legal administration and support.
What You'll Do
- Support with the day-to-day legal review and negotiation of supplier agreements with appropriate supervision via our procurement platform, utilising legal templates and playbook(s) and taking ownership of the legal stages of the process for assigned contracts.
- Assist with other repeatable legal matters, such as reviewing and negotiating NDAs and contractor agreements, drafting board minutes, and managing registered trademark filings and renewals - all using legal templates and with appropriate supervision.
- Support with corporate group administration matters, including liaising with external advisors and agents, supporting with submission of required filings and record keeping, and satisfying KYC requests.
- Support internal legal team administration for new work requests, including management of legal inboxes and other legal communication channels, and the assignment and tracking of matters across the team.
- Invoice administration and budget tracking for the Legal Team.
- Identifying, updating, strengthening and enforcing key team policies and processes (both internally and externally), including ensuring legal document repositories, contract databases and information management platforms are updated and maintained.
- Look for opportunities to simplify, automate and improve repeatable legal processes, helping the team become more efficient as we continue to grow.
- Assist with key legal project management, including organising meetings, managing project documentation, and supporting project objectives.
- Enhance legal technology tools, coordinating with third-party vendors to optimise functionality and resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to progress routine legal matters efficiently, maintaining accountability and service delivery.
- Contribute across a range of legal and governance initiatives, carrying out research, regulatory filings and other operational activities as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
