Do you have the organisation and attention to detail to make a real difference to vulnerable clients and support high-quality casework? At Redkite Solicitors, we’re seeking a proactive, compassionate and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Court of Protection team in delivering exceptional client service and practical legal support.
As a key part of our Court of Protection team in Ledbury/Gloucester, you’ll work closely with Fee Earners to support the day-to-day management of matters effectively and efficiently. From assisting with client meetings to helping manage financial affairs and maintain accurate files, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients and helping deliver a responsive, high-quality service.

- Support vulnerable clients with care – assist with the management of financial affairs, ensuring matters are handled accurately, sensitively, and professionally.
- Keep legal work moving – draft correspondence, prepare supporting documentation, and carry out legal research to support day-to-day case progression.
- Keep communication flowing – liaise confidently with clients, third parties, and colleagues to ensure queries, updates, and next steps are handled promptly.
- Create a positive first impression – handle new client enquiries efficiently and warmly, ensuring every potential client receives a professional introduction to our services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
