ROLE: Part-time Legal Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)

LOCATION: Sleaford

SALARY: Competitive based on Experience

HOURS: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Wednesday

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Property team. This role provides high-quality legal and secretarial support to fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth management of client matters and the delivery of a professional and efficient service. You will work closely with colleagues and external parties, supporting commercial property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.

You Will Undertake The Following But Not Limited To

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management and organisation of commercial property files
  • Producing correspondence and legal documents using dictation, case management and document production systems
  • Liaising with clients and external parties including solicitors, lenders and estate agents
  • Requesting searches and obtaining official copy documents via the Land Registry
  • Preparing completion statements, schedules of deeds and post-completion documentation including SDLT submissions and registrations
  • Supporting reports on title, leases, contracts and searches
  • Maintaining confidentiality and working in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements

You Will Enjoy This Role If You Are

  • Experienced in commercial property work with a good understanding of post-completion processes
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using IT systems and legal case management software
  • Professional, reliable and able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Committed to delivering excellent client service and working collaboratively within a team
