Job Opportunity

Enko currently seeks a versatile and proactive Legal Assistant to join our expanding asset management firm and support the Chief of Staff & Legal Associate in delivery of services to the firm. As a boutique asset management firm, our teams are often involved in a diverse range of projects at any one time. As a result, you will be encouraged and expected to take out responsibility and initiative from the outset—with appropriate supervision. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in key business activities both legal and operational in nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting third party and counterparty due diligence processes.
  • Managing delegated tasks and aspects of legal matters under appropriate supervision.
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Reviewing, analysing, and organising documents.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping and providing other general administrative support.
  • Drafting minutes.
  • Contributing to the efficient operation of the department and supporting wider business objectives.
  • Undertaking any other duties reasonably required by the business.

Qualifications

Education

  • Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree in Law required
  • LLM or equivalent advantageous

Experience & Requirements

  • <2 years experience working in a legal role in the financial services or legal industries
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
