Legal Assistant / Litigation Support / Legal Secretary / Litigation Assistant

Kendal office | Full time, permanent, 35 hours, 5 days per week

Salary + bonus + benefits to balance your work life.

Bridge Mills, Stramongate, Kendal LA9 4BD Kendal Cumbria Office Location

If your ideal lunch break involves a walk along the river rather than circling a city centre block, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.

Our Kendal office sits in a beautiful location beside the river, on the edge of the Lake District, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of an office environment, collaborating with colleagues and building great relationships with clients and the wider team.

This is not a role where you will spend your days hidden behind a screen at home. Our lawyers are looking for a colleague who enjoys the buzz of office life, likes collaborating with others, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with experienced litigation lawyers, helping to progress a varied caseload and ensuring clients receive an outstanding service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
