Due to continued business success and growth at GloverPriest Solicitors we are currently recruiting a Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to our growing Litigation team. The successful Legal Assistant will be based out of our Lichfield Office and will be working from 9-5 Monday to Friday there couldn't be a better time to join us. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the top 30 solicitors in the country.

The roles and responsibilities of the Legal Assistant will include:
- Dealing with non-complex/low value litigation matters such as: Breach of contract, Neighbour disputes, Property disputes, Debt recovery, Repossession proceedings (section 21 & section 8)
- Taking new enquiries; dictate/draft attendance notes on all calls/emails with enquirers
- Drafting letters and client care letters bespoke to a clients matter/dispute
- Communicating with clients on a daily basis
- Diary management, scheduling meetings
- Ledger postings; paying court fees, billing, transferring money/balances to clients
The Successful Legal Assistant Will Possess
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working within a legal practice would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Resilient and calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience of Dictation preferred.
- Excellent keyboard and word processing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Candidates must be positive, friendly and must understand the importance of confidentiality, be organised and a team player.
