Legal Assistant

Location: Penarth
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 35 hours, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Are you highly organised, client-focused, and keen to develop within a friendly and professional environment? We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our busy Residential Property team in our Penarth office. In this role, you will provide vital support to our legal professionals and play an important part in delivering an exceptional service experience to our clients.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Be at the heart of property transactions, supporting solicitors to ensure matters progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
  • Create and prepare professional legal documents and correspondence, helping to turn complex transactions into seamless client experiences.
  • Keep every detail on track by managing case files, updating systems, and ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the onboarding process, answering queries, and providing reassurance at every stage of their property journey.
  • Enjoy a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same, balancing priorities and working closely with colleagues to achieve shared success.
  • Make a real difference by delivering exceptional client service and helping people navigate one of the most important milestones in their lives.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For:

  • An LLB, Legal Assistant experience, or a genuine interest in developing a career within the legal profession.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems, with strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring nothing gets overlooked.
  • Able to thrive in a busy environment, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines with confidence.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and client-focused, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • A collaborative team player who brings a positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to support colleagues.
