Legal Assistant

ShadowDragon is seeking a part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support the company’s day-to-day legal operations. This role provides administrative and operational support to the legal function, helping manage contracts, maintain legal records, and assist with a variety of legal initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Legal Department.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, routing, and tracking contracts.
  • Maintain the company’s contract management system and ensure contracts and legal documents are accurately organized and archived.
  • Coordinate signature processes using electronic signature platforms.
  • Maintain legal templates, policies, and standard forms.
  • Track legal requests and priorities to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform other legal, administrative, and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, contract administrator, or similar legal support role preferred.
  • Experience supporting an in-house legal department or technology/SaaS company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and electronic signature platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and document management systems.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position scheduled for approximately 30 hours per week.
