Our client is a successful and respected Law firm looking for a Legal Assistant for their Commercial Property department. This role will predominately focus on the Commercial Property sector, working directly for a Partner but you will also provide ad-hoc support to the residential property team. You will join an established and successful team who have a loyal client base both locally and further afield across a range of other legal sectors including Private Client and Litigation as well as Property.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant
- Assist in the progression of property files
- Requesting and chasing searches and other documents
- Liaise with clients daily and keep the files up to date
- Support with exchange and completion activities (including post-completion)
- Undertake tasks such as opening and closing of files, obtaining ID, undertaking AML checks
- Preparing all correspondence and documentation in a timely fashion

The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience (12 months +) working in Commercial Property
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Familiarity with AML and client identification requirements
- Experience of maintaining accurate case files
- Highly organised with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Audio typing plus good Office 365 skills
