Job Title
We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our residential conveyancing department, working with a friendly and approachable but busy Conveyancing Team.
Job Details
This is a permanent, full-time office-based position – remote working is not an option for this role. We are based in central Hove.
Requirements
Ideally, you will already have experience in a property-based administrative setting.
- Experience with a Case Management system is essential.
Responsibilities
You will assist with the administrative tasks relating to the progress of property transactions, from taking instructions through to completion, dealing with clients on a daily basis, working closely with a very experienced solicitor. The role will cover tasks such as:
- Processing File openings
- Preparing contract packs
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, and lenders by email and on the telephone
- Helping keep transactions progressing towards exchange and completion
- You will need to have excellent verbal and communication skills
- A proactive attitude with strong organisation ability and attention to detail
- Lodging Land Registry applications
- General office administrative tasks
