Legal Cashier
Location – Manchester city centre
Salary – £based on experience
About the company:
A well-established global law firm with a UK based finance team. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to join, taking on a broad role.
Responsibilities include:
- Legal cashiering and compliance to include recording client and office transactions accurately
- Financial management covering VAT returns and reporting
- Preparing monthly & annual management reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Develop robust financial controls and continuously improve processes
- Support internal and external audits

Skills/Qualifications required:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier or similar within a law firm.
- Full knowledge and understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar finance role within a law firm
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Proclaim experience is a plus
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
