Our client, a highly regarded London law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its Finance team on a permanent basis.
The Firm
Our client is a leading London law firm with an excellent reputation across the legal market. The firm is known for its high-quality work, sophisticated client base and strong investment in its business services functions.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the firm's established Finance team in a broad and varied role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Allocating and posting client funds received through online banking
- Processing client-to-client transfers
- Investigating and allocating funds received against bills
- Processing client account payments via online banking and cheque
- Taking client card payments and processing transactions through the online terminal
- Completing manual and automated interest calculations
- Processing foreign currency transactions
- Responding to ad hoc queries from Partners, Associates, Secretaries and PAs
- Liaising directly with banks and resolving transactional queries
- Opening, closing and maintaining joint accounts
- Supporting cashiering transactions across the firm's London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai offices
- Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements

Requirements
The successful candidate will have solid legal cashiering experience gained within a law firm environment, alongside a strong working knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules
