Beyond Talent Solutions is supporting an established Leeds-based legal firm in the search for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team on an initial 3-6 month fixed-term contract. This opportunity would suit someone who has previous legal cashiering experience and can quickly become a valued member of the team, supporting day-to-day finance operations while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
The Role
Working as part of a supportive finance function, you'll be responsible for a broad range of legal cashiering duties, including:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Bank reconciliations and account balancing
- Handling payments, receipts and cash allocations
- Supporting billing and month-end processes
- Responding to finance and cashiering queries
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and internal procedures
- Providing wider finance support when required

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous Legal Cashier experience
- A strong understanding of client and office accounts
- Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently with minimal supervision and make an immediate contribution to the team.
