The Opportunity

As a Claims Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals looking to begin a personal injury claim. You'll play a vital role in delivering an excellent customer experience by listening carefully, gathering important information, and helping customers start their claim journey.

This is a fast-paced, telephone-based role where empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Taking detailed information regarding potential claims
  • Assessing claim viability against established criteria
  • Accurately updating case management systems
  • Supporting customers throughout the initial claims process
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth claim progression
  • Providing a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused service at all times
  • Supporting legal teams with administrative tasks where required

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
  • Previous experience handling customer calls is essential
  • Experience within a fast-paced customer service environment is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy with customers
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
