Legal / Compliance Evaluator

Position: Legal / Compliance Evaluator

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $80–$120/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Legal and Compliance professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You'll apply your legal and compliance expertise to review and assess AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other professional work products for accuracy, rigor, regulatory alignment, and overall domain quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against established legal and compliance quality criteria.
  • Review work products for factual accuracy, regulatory alignment, legal soundness, and professional quality.
  • Identify factual, legal, compliance, formatting, visual, and presentation errors.
  • Assess whether AI-generated outputs accurately reflect applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance principles.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback.
  • Apply consistent professional judgment when evaluating AI-generated work against domain-specific rubrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Legal or Compliance or a closely related field.
  • Native or professional fluency in English.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and potential compliance issues.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and well-supported feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, hourly engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher from a reputable institution.
  • Experience evaluating legal, regulatory, compliance, or business documentation.
  • Previous experience with AI evaluation, quality assurance, content review, or rubric-based assessment is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional legal, compliance, risk, or regulatory teams.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation of $80–$120/hour.
