Legal Counsel — Family Office with Venture Capital, Capital Markets and Real Estate interests.
The Role:
Equifind are supporting a fast growth and highly active private family office investing across private equity, trading and real estate is hiring a Legal Counsel. This is the third hire into the business and reports directly to the General Counsel.
The role is broad. You will act as principal legal support across the investment platform and its portfolio, handling commercial, corporate and operational matters, with direct exposure to principals and deal teams. It suits a pragmatic lawyer who enjoys variety, works well without supervision and is comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts: NDAs, Heads of term sheets, trading and counterparty documentation, supply and procurement agreements, service and consultancy agreements, leases, land options and development agreements, and IP licences.
- Corporate and transactional support: SPAs, APAs, shareholders' agreements, articles, board resolutions, corporate approvals and completion documentation; supporting investments, acquisitions and disposals from inception to close.
- Legal operations: managing execution processes, onboarding and KYC, maintaining internal policies and governance documents, advising on employment, property and general commercial issues across the portfolio, and instructing and coordinating external counsel.

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with strong commercial and/or corporate grounding, gained in private practice, in-house, or both.
- Real estate or funds/PE transactional exposure is helpful; the family office is open on sector background and does not expect experience across every contract type listed.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgement, and the confidence to advise independently.
