The Vacancy

As part of the ongoing expansion of the RSK Group, we are looking for a Corporate Lawyer with at least 4 years PQE to join our extremely busy inhouse legal team, which is primarily based in Helsby, Cheshire.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), with flexible working arrangements available.

The RSK Group is a leading environmental, engineering, and technical services business headquartered in the UK, with an established presence in more than 40 countries around the world.

This is a rare inhouse opportunity for a lawyer with a good grounding in M&A work to move client-side to assist with the company’s continuing growth plans. This role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to continue advising on corporate acquisitions and to broaden their corporate expertise, advising our businesses both in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vital day-to-day, high-quality legal support to the business reporting directly to the Head of M&A Corporate Legal Services
  • Give advice and assistance with corporate acquisitions, liaising with the Company’s M&A team, external advisers, divisional directors, and internal DD teams
  • Support with post-acquisition matters including drafting formal notices and legal documentation support and addressing queries from divisional and RSK Group teams
  • Provide assistance with Group reorganisations/rationalisation of subsidiaries
  • Support with the onboarding of new businesses into the Group
  • Provide assistance with general commercial contracts, including international projects, and property matters
  • Provide assistance with acceding Group entities to the Group’s senior facilities arrangements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
