Opportunity for a Legal Counsel
An opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join a not-for-profit responsible for developing and enforcing globally accepted financial reporting standards and sustainability disclosure standards. This is a contract role for 12 months.
Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, you will provide support across commercial contracting, intellectual property protection and corporate legal matters. The role will involve:
- Drafting commercial and IP contracts
- Protecting and maintaining intellectual property rights
- Applying strong commercial awareness
- Managing corporate legal requirements
- Conducting thorough legal research

To be considered you will be a qualified legal professional and/or UK qualified solicitor, with several years PQE and good working knowledge of contract, corporate, commercial and IP law. Knowledge of the same within EU, Asia Oceania region and/or US is an advantage.
Compensation
On offer is a salary of £90,000.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in London and offers hybrid working (2 days a week in the office).
