Role: Legal Counsel - NQ–3PQE
Duration: 6 month FTC with the option to extend on a longer term basis

Work Pattern: Hybrid Working with 3 days per week in the office
We’re looking to speak with qualified lawyers (NQ–3PQE) who are interested in joining an innovative technology business as Legal Counsel on a 6 month basis initially.
You’ll join a busy, collaborative legal team, supporting the business across a broad range of in-house matters with a focus on the commercial workstream. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer looking to gain meaningful in-house experience in a fast-growing technology environment.

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Advising the business on legal and regulatory matters, identifying risks and providing practical, commercially focused solutions
- Developing and improving contract management processes, tools and templates to streamline contracting and enhance efficiency
- Developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s standard terms and conditions, ensuring they remain commercially appropriate and legally robust
- Supporting the business in managing regulatory compliance, monitoring relevant legal and regulatory developments and helping to embed appropriate processes and controls
- Delivering in-house training on legal risks and significant legal and regulatory developments
- Managing legal projects, including coordinating with and overseeing external counsel where appropriate
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide practical, proactive and commercially focused legal advice
- Exploring and implementing opportunities to leverage technology and AI to improve the commercial contracting workflow and wider legal processes

Ideally, you’ll have:
- Extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Experience in or exposure to regulatory matters and compliance
- A genuine interest in legal technology and AI, particularly in the context of commercial contracting
- Strong project management and organisational skills, including experience working with external counsel
- Excellent communication skills
