Heriot Brown is recruiting a Commercial Legal Counsel for a part-time in-house opportunity.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take on a varied workload, build close relationships across the business and make an impact while working three days per week.
The opportunity
You will support the business with day-to-day commercial legal advice, taking ownership of contracts and helping colleagues move matters forward.

Your work will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements.
- Providing clear, practical advice to stakeholders across the business.
- Identifying legal risks and finding workable commercial solutions.
- Managing competing priorities and supporting wider legal matters.
About you
You will have a strong grounding in commercial contracts and the confidence to manage your own workload.
Previous in-house experience would be valuable, including experience gained through secondments. You will be comfortable working directly with stakeholders, understanding their priorities and delivering clear advice.
