Role overview: Legal Counsel

London

Currys London Campus at Waterloo

Permanent

Full Time

Grade 4

At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

You'll join the Legal, Governance and Risk team under the Head of Corporate and Commercial Law, providing clear, practical legal advice that enables Currys to operate quickly while managing risk. The role covers a broad range of legal areas including commercial contracts, competition, IP, and regulatory matters. Working as trusted partners rather than gatekeepers, the team takes a collaborative approach where people support each other and own their work fully.

You'll collaborate across Currys with commercial, IT, procurement, and finance teams in the UK and Ireland, building strong relationships that are essential for effective legal advice. By engaging with project teams from the outset rather than at the end, you'll ensure legal considerations are integrated throughout decision-making. You'll also manage external counsel relationships and handle operational matters like supplier setup and invoice processing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
