Legal Counsel – Life Sciences

We are supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation seeking a commercial Legal Counsel for an initial 6-month contract.

This role combines commercial contracting with legal operations/process improvement, supporting stakeholders across a large and complex organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Providing practical commercial legal advice
  • Updating templates, SOPs, guidance and legal processes
  • Supporting legal operations and process-improvement initiatives
  • Developing training materials and working with cross-functional stakeholders

About you:

  • Likely 2–5 PQE
  • Strong commercial contracts experience
  • Previous in-house/corporate experience
  • Experience within life sciences, healthcare or another relevant regulated environment
  • Pharma/biotech experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Medical devices, diagnostics, NHS and related healthcare/science backgrounds will also be considered
  • Legal operations/process-improvement experience or a strong interest in this area
