At Whyte & Mackay, we're offering a rare opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join our in-house legal team and play a key role in protecting and supporting some of the world's most recognised whisky brands, including The Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn and Tamnavulin.
Whether you're already working in-house or considering your first move from private practice, this is an opportunity to broaden your experience, work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and see the direct impact of your advice.

What you'll be doing
- Providing practical legal advice across a broad range of business areas
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Supporting the protection and management of our global trademark portfolio
- Advising on intellectual property, data protection, employment and corporate matters
- Supporting corporate governance and company secretarial activities
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to manage legal risk and support growth
- Helping ensure compliance across our global operations
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a qualified solicitor with strong commercial awareness and experience of drafting and negotiating contracts.
You may already have experience working in-house, or you could be looking to make your first move from private practice. What matters most is your ability to provide pragmatic advice, build strong relationships and confidently navigate a variety of legal matters.

- Experience in commercial contracts
- Expertise in areas such as intellectual property, employment law, data protection or corporate law
- The ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities
