Working closely with senior stakeholders, regulators, operational teams, and external partners, you will influence strategic initiatives, support key business decisions, and drive continuous improvement across legal and governance frameworks.

Legal Advisory & Business Partnering

  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and support across a wide range of business activities.
  • Support the development and delivery of the organisation's Legal and Governance strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on legal, regulatory, governance, risk, and compliance matters.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise on potential business impacts.
  • Present balanced legal opinions, findings, and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
  • Build awareness of legal and compliance obligations through training, guidance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support operational and business teams in resolving legal, governance, and risk-related matters.
  • Assist with business continuity planning and resilience initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, business transformation programmes, and operational improvements.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation to ensure legal and governance considerations are embedded within business activities.

Commercial Contracts & Procurement

  • Support with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Client contracts
    • Supplier agreements
    • Third-party service contracts
    • Non-disclosure agreements
    • Professional services agreements
    • Terms and conditions
  • Provide practical legal and commercial advice throughout contract negotiations.
  • Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks while supporting business objectives.
  • Support responses to client due diligence and legal questionnaire requests.
  • Maintain and develop contract templates, precedents, and playbooks.
  • Assist with supplier due diligence, revalidation, and third-party risk assessments.
  • Support governance and risk management activities relating to supplier and partner relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
