We’re hiring: Legal Counsel | Supernova Power
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Ideally North West-based, with three days per week at our St Helens office
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to take primary responsibility for the property and land rights work supporting our BESS and gas peaker projects. This is an opportunity to work across the project lifecycle, from early land negotiations and acquisitions through to construction, operation and ongoing land management.

- Working closely with our General Counsel and development teams, you’ll lead the negotiation and drafting of options, leases, easements, wayleaves and access rights.
- You’ll also manage land rights for grid connections and cable routes, take ownership of property due diligence, oversee title and Land Registry matters, and work directly with landowners, DNOs and other stakeholders.
We’re looking for a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and/or Scotland with property experience, sound judgement and a practical approach to legal risk. Energy-sector experience, particularly in renewable energy, grid infrastructure or project development, is strongly preferred. The role is aimed at NQ to three years’ PQE, although candidates at other levels who can demonstrate the right capabilities will also be considered.
