Role Description
This full-time remote Legal Counsel role is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to William Graves Corporation Ltd. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements, as well as preparing and maintaining legal documents and templates. The Legal Counsel will advise internal stakeholders on legal issues, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The role also involves monitoring legal developments relevant to the business, collaborating with external counsel when needed, and contributing to the development of internal policies, procedures, and training.

- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiation, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including contracts, policies, and formal correspondence.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and manage Legal Issues, providing clear, practical recommendations.
- Experience offering Legal Advice to business stakeholders in a clear, concise, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and eligibility to practice or significant in-house counsel experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing multiple matters and deadlines.
- Experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law, and prior in-house or corporate counsel experience is preferred.
