Legal Counsel | Burgess Hill, West Sussex | 3+ PQE | £65-85k+ | Hybrid (3:2)

We're recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join a global name in healthcare, based at their Burgess Hill office.

You'll sit within the wider legal team, focusing on the digital, data and privacy side of the business, supporting an organisation that's investing heavily in digital healthcare solutions. It's a genuinely varied role, blending commercial contract work with regulatory know-how and cross-team collaboration.

What you'll be doing:

  • Advising on a broad mix of commercial matters, with digital products and solutions front and centre.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts and other legal documentation.
  • Acting as a go-to legal contact for teams working on digital, data, and privacy matters.
  • Tracking legal and regulatory changes across the UK and EU, and translating what they mean for the business.
  • Supporting on litigation and disputes as they arise.
  • Getting involved in company-wide projects that need legal input.

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor or CILEx (England & Wales), with experience in digital, IT, or privacy law. Pharma, biotech, or medical devices experience is a bonus.
  • Strong technical grounding from a reputable firm or in-house team, paired with a genuine commitment to ethical, straightforward ways of working.
  • Confidence handling complex legal problems independently and finding practical solutions.
  • A clear communicator who can translate legal complexity for non-legal colleagues.
  • Someone who takes feedback well and uses it to keep improving.
