Role: French/German-Speaking Contract Counsel (On-Demand) — SaaS/Enterprise Sales Support
Client: US Big Tech (English-only legal team), EU enterprise sales expansion
Location: Remote — UK or EU-continent based
A US-headquartered Tech company is expanding enterprise B2B sales into France and Germany and needs on-demand contract counsel to negotiate SaaS/software agreements in French and/or German — either off the company's translated templates or third-party customer paper. The candidate should understand local commercial contracting norms (French contracting practice; German SaaS/software standards, including liability limitation expectations) and be comfortable negotiating with public sector or quasi-governmental counterparties, though complex government deals would still route to local external counsel. Work is genuinely ad hoc — no fixed hours, possible multi-month gaps followed by peak periods — with a 2-3 business day turnaround expectation.
