Our client is looking for a qualified lawyer to join as Legal Counsel (Compliance) — a role with real scope to shape how the compliance function operates as it grows. This is a broad, hands-on position combining commercial legal work as well as enhancing regulatory expertise.
You'll work at the intersection of law and compliance, advising the business on contracts while developing the policies, procedures, and programs.

Key areas of focus include:
- Helping to shape and develop the compliance offering as it evolves
- Advising on and getting involved in legal contracts
- Owning key compliance areas including whistleblowing, policies and procedures, managing KYC as well as mentoring a junior data protection team
About you:
- A qualified lawyer with 3–5 years PQE
- Experience across compliance and commercial contracts
- Comfortable working autonomously and building things from the ground up
- Strong communicator who can advise, train, and influence at all levels
- Some experience managing or mentoring others is a plus
